The Covenanting Committee of the South Australian Synod warmly invites you to an evening of reflection, commemoration, and celebration to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Covenant between the Uniting Church of Australia and the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress.
The 30th Anniversary of the Covenant will include presentations by National Chair of the Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress Rev Mark Kickett; Theologian-in-Residence Rev Dr ‘Aunty’ Denise Champion; Rev ‘Uncle’ Ken Sumner; Vonda Last will sing; and Dr Deirdre Palmer (former President of the Uniting Church in Australia); and a range of younger voices. Master of Ceremonies - Moderator Rev Peter Morel.
There will be an opportunity for prayer and personal reflection - and to have your personal responses and ideas brought forward to be received by the Moderator and the Chair of Congress.
Supper will be served at the conclusion of the service.
