YELLOW BRICK ROAD TOUR 2020
The canola fields in the Central West Regions of New South Wales are ripe and ready for photography. Join Ray Jennings on a whirlwind long day trip this Saturday to visit some beautiful historic towns and capture the untouched beauty of the Canola fields in full bloom contrasting with the blue skies and green fields. The countryside is looking particularly beautiful this year.
The tour will start at 7.30am, you will need to be at the meet location by 7.15am and we will not return until well after dark so there is lots of driving and kms to cover. Bring your own snacks, drinks and food to eat along the way as it is a packed program with little time for food stops. It’s all about photography!
For safety reasons, the tour is limited to 5 cars with 3 photographers each, so car pooling will be required (see below).
Starting point will be the Partridge VC Rest Area on the Hume Highway at 7.15am. Return will be either via the Blue Mountains or via the Hume Highway if that suits people better. Once the photography is finished, people are free to return home using their preferred route.
Tickets are available for either “driver” or “passenger”. If you buy a ticket as a driver, you will need to take 2 passengers, so a reasonable sized car is needed. Passengers will be assigned to a car and drivers and passengers will be put in touch after tickets are sold. You will need to make your own arrangements for meeting your driver/passengers and sharing fuel costs.
As this event has strictly limited numbers, only Focus Plus members can purchase tickets and attend the event. There is no capacity for non-photographers or partners to attend.
Cost is $11.50 per person.
Please do not purchase a ticket if you participated in the first trip.
