Wait.. what is CAP...
CAP's mission is to build self-esteem in kids with alopecia, we bring support to the families and we raise alopecia awareness. We have 45 support groups in and even outside the USA and we organize fun events for our CAP kids where they can be themselves :)
Who is coming...
Spend this life changing weekend with tons of fun, inspirational and very well-known Alopecian Mentors, like Kevin Bull, Lindsay Hannah, Anthony Carrigan, Annette Abbick Thompson, Georgia Van Cuylenburg, Joe Gatt, Usua Amanam, Kylie Bamberger, Angie Tozier Bryan, Laura Hudson, Deeann Callis Graham, Connor Carlson and Lisa Lefkowitz. They will lead all activities and hang out with us all weekend! Also mister CAP himself Jeff Woytovich will join us :)
About the mentors...
All CAP mentors have alopecia, whether it is areata, totalis, universalis or diffuse alopecia. Some have regrowth, others don't. Some live bald, some wear hairpieces, some prefer scarves, some change it up :) What we try to instill in the kids is this: we embrace you no matter how much, how little or no hair or regrowth you have and whatever your personal choice is to deal with that! The goal is for you to be happy with who you are, so do whatever makes you feel most as you! BeYOUtiful!
About the activities...
We will head to Malibu beach, have our own private pool with slide, a challenge course, we'll play basketball, gaga ball, and many other games, we have an arts & crafts room with face paint, we'll explore the park, have some meditation sessions, have an Open Mic night, campfires with s'mores, games, karaoke, a photo shoot, many surprises and a Unicorn Dance!
Location, prices, lodging, meals etc...
CAP KIDS CAN COME TO CAMP FOR FREE!!! They do need to be accompanied by at least 1 paying adult. Tickets for adults and siblings 5 yrs and up are $275, 4yo and younger are free as well. The whole family is welcome! A ticket includes lodging, all 6 meals, all activities, lifelong friends & unforgettable memories! We also have a full kitchen with fridge, microwave etc., for us to use in case you prefer to bring your own food. We will share a unique camping experience (shared cabins, shower houses, but real beds & walls ;)) in the beautiful and adventurous nature of the Santa Monica Mountains! Bring your own linen or rent it at camp for $10 pp. Register before March 3rd, because then the registration will close, since camp requires a head count ahead of time!

If you were there for one or both of the earlier CAP kid California camps, you already know you don't want to miss it ;) If you have never been. Here is your chance!! Beautiful surroundings, lots of fun, the most genuine and wonderful CAP families, old & new friends, and don’t forget our many amazing role models for the kids!
