Simcoe County Administration Centre, 1110, Midhurst, ON, L0L 1X1, Canada.

Join us for the Equity in Action: Building Inclusive Workplaces, facilitated by the Harmony Movement. This employer training session will be focused on improving communication and understanding between diverse groups in a workplace setting and supporting participants to have informed conversations when issues of inequity and discrimination arise.

  • Explore the benefits of recognizing and embracing diversity
  • Gain language and tools to identify and challenge bias and privilege
  • Examine and challenge beliefs and behaviours that can lead to unwelcoming workplace environments

Workshop participants will engage in personal goal setting for integrating these ideas into their everyday personal and work life. Participants will reflect on how they “embody” equity and how they can integrate equity into their workplace culture and the wider community.
